Gorgeous, Xueling!! Such pretty people sharing a lovely moment. And Beijing City is just out-of-this-world beautiful. Oh, to visit China someday! I keep reading all these novels: anything by Linda See, of course Amy Tan (have re-read everything), and now have found an El Cerrito California author, Gail Tsukiyama born to a Chinese mother and Japanese father. I'm currently reading her "Women of the Silk" and it is fascinating :) f/v

Thank you for your comment on my piece. I love the irony in this photograph. These two are in a wonderfully magnificent place, yet they are amused by simple bubbles. It reminds me of how the simplest things bring the most pleasure. The smile on her face affirms my sentiment.

This is a wonderfully designed work, where color would be a distraction from the main focus of this rather fun, whimsical moment. There is an intimacy of this photo that is very appealing...a moment in time.
