Using visual language to create a piece of art capturing the difference between contemporary dance and ballet. The forms of three figures dancing together as a group but expressing themselves individually at the same time. The background of colors symbolized modern stage and the rhythm of the contemporary music by giving the pulsing of dance beats.
Xueling Zou, is an award-winning, Chinese American self-taught artist living in California, from an artist family in Beijing. Passion for art, painting by heart from studio to outdoors, she creates visual stories in oil and watercolor using composition, color, and form inspired by different cultures, literature and nature. Her works have been exhibited nationally and collected internationally.
