Plein Air @ Point Lobos State Natural Reserve, Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA on May 5
It was cold and gray. Many talented California artists were painting there yesterday. I saw Many artists from nearby location, and Linda from Santa Barbara, etc... Guess what? Lucky me, met Albert Handell, saw his original pastel Plein Air work at the location. He came from Santa Fe, NM to teach a couple days class in Carmel. Just love his wonderful landscape and admire his humble personality! It was a great experience to meet all these artists, and painting in such a beautiful place!
Even better, I went to Albert's demo at that night.
