Description
My very first time participating at the 2018 Alameda six-day Plein Air Event. I lost 6 pounds in five days already. I remembered that I painted from late afternoon till the beautiful sunset time when the whole sky was turning into scarlet. Peaceful but cold and windy, my watercolor paper wouldn't dry. I waited until it was dark, my host lady was surprised to see my painting was like a big roll by the time I got back to her house. After it dried, I didn't even have time to do the retouching, then had to frame and exhibit it. Since then, I have learned how to paint watercolor using less water.
