Xueling Zou, is an award-winning, Chinese American self-taught artist living in California, from an artist family in Beijing. Passion for art, painting by heart from studio to outdoors, she creates visual stories in oil and watercolor using composition, color, and form inspired by different cultures, literature and nature. Her works have been exhibited nationally and collected internationally. Drawing on influences of great masters from history to the present, with simplicity of brushstrokes or palette knife, her contemporary impressionist portraits, figurative paintings, Plein Air landscapes of California, express the humanity and life experience in special moments - the stories of our lives. It was a pleasure to view your series on Machu Picchu. When we visited there it was so quite that I was able to get a spiritual feeling while we walked around. The capture is marvelous. I love the sharp detail in the stones of the walls. Also the persective and angle of the shot are very nice. Excellent composition. V & F
